Day 1: Sylvan Heights Bird Park & Roanoke River Wetlands (Halifax & Martin Counties)

  • Morning: Sylvan Heights Bird Park (Scotland Neck, Halifax County)
    • Over 200 species of birds, including rare and endangered waterfowl.
    • Best for up-close photography and conservation learning.
  • Afternoon: Roanoke River National Wildlife Refuge (Martin County)
