Dismal Day

Join the Dismal Swamp State Park for Dismal Day! Festivities run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and include food trucks, music, nature & cultural exhibits, bounce house, wagon rides, scavenger hunt, kids crafts, live animals and much more!
A FREE 5K Fun Run/Walk on the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail (NC) starts at 9 a.m. No registration is required, but a waiver must be signed before the race. This family friendly event welcomes strollers and allows participants to walk/run at their own pace. Participants will receive a special Dismal Day giveaway from the Dismal Swamp State Park.
